Hi,
I have a FireDTV C/CI with an Alphacrypt Classic + UM02 card from Unitymedia in Germany. I use Debian Unstable with a self compiled kernel ver.:
Code:
Linux servereis 2.6.31 #1 SMP Thu Sep 10 21:24:53 CEST 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I tried two Firewire cards, a card with rd232 chip. And this one, which I use now:
Code:
07:02.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): VIA Technologies, Inc. VT6306 Fire II IEEE 1394 OHCI Link Layer Controller (rev 46)
MythTV wont't change the channels after some time of using. Most of the time channel switching fails, The the channel wich use my CI Interface can't get a lock. In dmesg:
Code:
firedtv 0012870036003317-0: FCP response timed out
firedtv 0012870036003317-0: forcing list_management to ONLY
MythTV shows following error:
Code:
2009-09-12 03:04:06.656 PIDInfo(/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0): Failed to open demux device /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0 for filter on pid 0x102
I also noticed that every 40 - 60 min I get a corrupted stream or something like this.
Could this be a driver issue?
Regards,
Sascha
EDIT: BTW. Thx for continuing with support.
EDIT2: I've noticed much of these error messages with verbose logging:
Code:
2009-09-13 05:02:08.841 MythEvent: SIGNAL 13
2009-09-13 05:02:08.843 MythSocket(7f6444981940:40): write -> 40 496 BACKEND_MESSAGE[]:[]SIGNAL 13[]:[]Signal Lock[]:[]slock 1 1 0 1 3...
2009-09-13 05:02:08.874 DVBRec(13:/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0): PID 0x207 discontinuity detected
2009-09-13 05:02:08.893 MythEvent: SIGNAL 13
2009-09-13 05:02:08.894 MythSocket(7f6444981940:40): write -> 40 496 BACKEND_MESSAGE[]:[]SIGNAL 13[]:[]Signal Lock[]:[]slock 1 1 0 1 3...
2009-09-13 05:02:08.910 DVBRec(13:/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0): PID 0x207 discontinuity detected
This only happens if MythTV switches to a channel which uses my CI.
