Desperate! Firedtv DVBT/CI, encrypted channels

My suspicions were correct. The PMT had grown larger after the evolution that Boxer did some time ago. This triggered a bug in the drivers. I have created a patch that corrects the issue. Please give it a try and let me know.

I have tested both TV3 and Kanal 5 for a while tonight and they both work like a charm again.

Thank you Henrik! After 2 weeks of compiling, testing, swearing, you fixed it in a couple of days!

Compiled 2.6.30-5, and kaffeine showed all channels without problems.

Only problem now is mythtv, before my channels begun disappear, mythtv worked, but i had 0.20 then i believe.

If anyone knows a working version, please let me know!

Great to hear that it is working for you!

Regarding your MythTV issue, I am running 0.21 (latest standard RPMs for Fedora 10) with minor issues only so I can recommend that. I hardly believe 0.20 is being maintained anymore so an upgrade to 0.21 is recommended.

This is strange, could it be an ubuntu build options issue? I used Fedora to when it worked.

I see no real problem in this log (other than the PIDs not being decrypted of course). The correct PMT is eventually found (840) and a CA_PMT is created and sent to the driver. However, after that the PIDs are still encrypted. Could you enable logging of the firedtv driver and post the "APP PMT" lines as well as the lines just after that?

I mailed debug (echo 0xFFFE > /sys/module/firedtv/parameters/debug)

1. with mythbackend TV4 and then switch to TV3

2. Kaffein TV3 (that works)

EDIT: There were no app pmt entrys, change in debug in kernel 2.6.30-5? wich kernel do you have? Might try the same.

EDIT2: would be nice if the files i sent actually had something in them

Ok, thought that one added, fedora 11 installed and configured:

kaffeine works perfekt, mythtv still don't on encrypted channels.
